God Changed Lives the 1st Day
Welcome to the first edition of the 2025 Summer Prayer Warrior. This year the camp’s theme is called “Seek First” based on Matthew 6:33 which says, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Around camp you will see flickering lights that look like flames, dinning hall windows that have been painted to look like stained glass, and fun castle names all around the property.
The gospel message this summer remains the same as it has since the beginning. God wants all men and women to repent and come to Him for forgiveness and to experience eternal life in heaven. Our hope is that many will hear the message of the gospel and accept Christ as their Savior.
Today at Girls Camp II God has already blessed us with a great response from the girls in chapel. I counted 12 girls who bodly came forward after Kris Repp prayed through a salvation prayer with the girls at the end of her message. Before her prayer, Kris had asked the girls if any of them were good enough to go to heaven, or if there was anything in their lives for which they would have to admit that they too were sinners in need of God’s grace.
We are grateful for the many lives that have been changed for eternity here on the first full day of kids camp. Certainly the spiritual tone of the week has been set and these girls came ready to listen. Please pray that God would continue to do mighty things this week in the hearts of campers and that He would encourage our volunteers to walk closely with Jesus.
