VOLUNTEER

“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.”

1 Peter 4:10

How it Works

At LBC, we seek volunteers with an active relationship with Christ who are passionate about helping others grow in faith. Whether leading discussions, answering biblical questions, or simply offering guidance and friendship, volunteers play a vital role in nurturing Christian maturity through service and leadership.

  • Please carefully read the descriptions for volunteer positions below. If you are interested in volunteering, review our mission, affirmation of faith statements and dress code to ensure alignment.

We encourage you to pray carefully about your decision, and ask any questions you may have about the position you are interested in!

  • Before you can volunteer, the first step is to complete the Volunteer Interest Form. This form ensures that our directors are aware of your desire to serve and allows us to begin the vetting process. All volunteers must be approved by LBC before serving at camp.

Once your Interest Form is received, you will be contacted by LBC’s Volunteer Coordinator. You will then receive a link to fill out the Volunteer Application.

    1. Submit your application to begin the process.

    2. Provide two references, which we will review as part of your approval.

    3. You’ll receive an email with a secure link to order your background check, which will require your Social Security Number and License Number. Background checks are required annually. Please ensure your background check is complete at least 72 hours before your session.

According to state law, a background check must be completed before considering any volunteer, and LBC must receive both references before your application is deemed complete.
