Take a week with some of your best adult friends and spend a week together at Lakeside Bible Camp enjoying good food with a Dear Lake view (Plus a Salmon Bake on Wednesday). The daily schedule has two chapel times, three meals together, and plenty of time for a variety of activities around the camp and Whidbey Island.
This week of camp at Lakeside is geared to adults who aren’t working or who want to take a week off of work to fellowship with other believers around biblical messages and prayer-filled moments.
This week has historically been called the “50-Plus” camp, but now the only age requirement is for campers to be adults (over 18). The week is low-key compared to our other youth and family camps. It is structured around meal times and chapel times. Our hope is to have a camp that connects wtih LBC friends and alumni. This is also meant to include Whidbey Island locals who want the daily experience of LBC, but wish to stay off-site in their own homes.
SPEAKERS:
Our speakers for the week include Ed Kelley (the outgoing Executive Director), Dan Jester from Apprentice Ministries who will speak Tuesday through Thursday, and LBC’s new Executive Director will speak on Friday morning’s chapel.
Dan Jester is the Senior Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Burlington, Wa. He and his wife Gretchen together share a life vision of evangelism by training believers to share their faith and change people’s life for eternity. This week, Dan is going to be teaching us to seek the Kingdom first by preaching through the book of Ephesians.
LODGING:
Whidbey locals may want to stay off-site and just pay the program fee of $225 per person. If you want to stay onsite during the Prayer Warrior Week here are the options:
Couples Housing (COST - $180):
(OPTION #1) Stay in a side cabin that has a queen mattress, 10-bunks, and a bathroom.
(OPTION #2) Stay in a middle cabin with 2 twin beds that can be pushed together.
Single Housing (COST - $80):
(OPTION #1) Stay in a dorm with up to 5 other individuals. Shared bathroom. Twin-sized bed/bunks.
(OPTION #2) Stay in a middle cabin or room by yourself.
RVs (COST - $85):
LBC has 6 RV hookup spaces with a post for water and electricity.
Tent (COST - $10):
Take one of the many green grass spaces around camp and enjoy a week sleeping outside under the stars.
How to Calculate Your Cost
Lodging Fee + Program Fee (Per Person) = Total Cost.

A married couple ($225 each) wants a side cabin or middle cabin ($180). Their total for the week is $630
A single person ($225) wants to stay in the dorm with up to 5 other people ($80). His or her total for the week is $305. But if that single person wants to stay in their own cabin with no one else ($180), His or her total for the week is 405.
