The Church/Ministry world is often complex and made more so during the last 2-3 years. Veteran Executive Pastor, and also our own Executive Director here at LBC, Ed Kelley, will be presenting a series of workshops on "Strategies, Tactics, and Principles of Management" regarding all aspects and phasings of leading a church or ministry.

From how to make decisions to general operations; from leading ministries to developing budgets; from leading effective Staff Meetings to conducting staff/volunteer reviews; from implementing evaluation systems to long-term planning strategies;… everything you need to grow and direct your church in an effective and efficient way.

These are topics they don’t teach in seminary but is born out of experience of leading churches from “start-up status” to “Mega” church level—and everything in between.

Join us for these intensive workshops on Leadership and Management. It will change the way you do ministry.

As far as details go, we meet on June 3 at 10:30am, break for lunch, and then have another general session directly after lunch. Then we’ll have a break to enjoy the camp setting. Directly after dinner with one more session and a Q&A with Ed on anything the group wants to talk about.

On Tuesday after breakfast we’ll have a long general session and a final Q&A. Then the Summit will wrap up with lunch and you can beat the rush hour traffic to get home. If you are staying the night on Monday, just let us know (included in the cost).

So the question comes, who should sign up? Any leader in a church: Lead Pastor, Student Pastors, Associate Pastor; andy director or minister who is leading a group of people. Elders, Deacons, and Lay Leadership will benefit as Ed Kelley is known to be direct and pragmatice about how a board should function as well. So…anyone who is in leadership in your church, will find this to be life-giving and helpful.
