LBC camps are popular and fill fast! If campers find that the camp that they are registering for is full, they are given the option of registering on a waitlist that is stamped with the time and date.
Cabin Friend Requests can not be fulfilled if you are not a registered participant for the camp for which you are on a waiting list by Wednesday of the week preceding that camp. (EXAMPLE: If a particular camp begins on Sunday, July 28, and you are not registered for that camp prior to Wednesday, July 24, LBC will be unable to fulfill your cabin friend request since cabin assignments will have already been made to allow for completion of all other paperwork.)
When a spot opens for a particular camp for which there is a waitlist, the next person on the list is called. For co-ed camps (Jr. High & High School) 60 beds are reserved for males and 60 beds for females. The person next on the WAITLIST who matches the opening will be contacted via phone and e-mail; please reply to any messages from LBC as soon as you can.. Often a deadline for response will be given, so that we are able to continue to move through the list. Our goal is to provide the opportunity for as many young people as is possible to attend camp.
If you have not received a call by 8 PM on the night a camp begins, it is unlikely that a spot will become available.
