frequently asked questions

What are the minimum and maximum ages for summer youth campers?
We host summer camps for those who have just finished second grade and will be entering third grade all the way through this year's high school graduates. This translates to ages 8-19. See pages for Youth/Teen Weekend Retreats and Youth/Teen Summer Camps for more details. CLICK HERE for 10 Things you Can Do To Prepare Your Child For Camp.

What activities are available for LBC Campers during free time?
Disc golf, basketball, pickleball, baseball/softball, soccer, BMX track, mountain biking, bb gun and archery ranges, kayaks, canoes, water trampoline, waterslide, diving board, crafts, foosball, carpetball, beach volleyball, water skiing, wakeboarding, innertubing, trout fishing, foursquare, and a 32′ climbing wall!

How do I register for camp?
If your family has not yet created an account, a parent should create an account through the "New user sign-up" using his/her name and email address.  This email address will be used in the future to login, sign up, and pay balances for all campers in the household.

I registered and paid the deposit.  When is the balance due? What if I need to pay by check? What if I need to cancel?
See Payment link on left.

What about cabin friend requests?
NOTE: CABIN ASSIGNMENTS ARE COMPLETED THE WEDNESDAY NIGHT BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF CAMP FOR DIRECTORS/CABIN LEADERS TO REVIEW AND SO FINAL CHECK-IN DOCUMENTS CAN BE PREPARED.  NO CABIN ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE CHANGED WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF THE CABIN DIRECTOR ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON.  THANK YOU!
We do our best to accommodate camper cabin friend requests of ONE individual friend or a GROUP of 3 to 10 friends who provide the same group name during registration. Decide on a unique name (like "DMGC Girls") and then have the 3-10 campers who wish to share the same cabin use the group name as their "cabin friend request".  If multiple names are listed, ONLY the first name will be considered as the Cabin Friend Request. Please do not also list the members of the group, only the GROUP name.

What if I need to make changes to information provided on the registration form?
For weekend camps, send an e-mail to dcm@lakesidebiblecamp.org. For summer camps, please send an e-mail to office@lakesidebiblecamp.org.

What should my camper bring?

How do I check my camper in and out?

Well behaved service animals, that have been trained to perform a specific task and that remain on active duty, are welcome to join a disabled guest. Please leave pets at home.

LBC & Volunteers
Lakeside Bible Camp is a ministry that depends on about 30,000 volunteer hours each year.  Cabin leaders, directors, musicians, summer staff, TCL, and speakers give their time to make the LBC experience affordable and memorable.

Camper Safety
Your camper's safety is as important to us as it is to you.

Members of our core team have recently been trained in screening procedures through MinistrySafe and Mental Health First-Aid through Compass Health.

All staff, cabin leaders, cooks, and volunteers over 18 have current references and have been screened through Protect My Ministry's federal background check including SSN verification and address history,  National Criminal Database, and National Sex Offender search. Volunteers under 18 have passed a Washington State background check.
